Adult Advocacy

Educational forums

AFA provides education on self-direction to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in commmunity settings (such as local libraries),at public and private schools to educate students, families and staff, as well as at parent groups (PTO's).

We welcome the opportunity to speak to local community groups such as Women's Clubs, The Elks, Boy and Girl Scouts, Chambers of Commerce and other business associations so you may learn more about the options available to adults with developmental disabilities and the contributions they make to their neighborhoods.

I love FRA so much. It's like a club I go to to find job-related social skills.
