Overview

Job Coaching

Once the individual is placed in the work setting, assistance (job coaching) is given to them to ensure they are gaining the needed skills, tasks and understanding of the workplace culture to develop job independence.  Job Coaches may help with the needed modifications or skill strengthening so the new employee can overcome any challenges of the work. Ongoing assistance helps in developing communication between the newly employed and the employer to ensure they are growing in their position and are a valued, long-term employee.
