SPECIAL EDUCATOR - Project SEARCH Internship Program
Make a difference for adults with disAbilties. Seeking CERTIFIED Special Educators for Project SEARCH internship training program at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Must have a passion to teach ADULTS with developmental disabilities. Candidates must be experienced with this community and be creative, respectful, dynamic, embracing capabilities for employment. Instructors must be experienced teaching pre-employment skills, communication and social skills to foster placement in meaningful jobs. Numerous benefits. No health insurance plan.
This is a full-time position with students in training from 8am -3pm Monday through Friday. The program runs from September through June and requires some summer work as well.
