Adult Program Staff and TECHConnection Staff

Norman Shamy

Norman graduated from Freehold Township High School in 2019 at the age of 21. He attended the workplace training program before becoming employed at 'No Limits Cafe' as a dishwasher for 2 years.  While employed, he also attended FRA as a student.  Norman was recognized by FRA staff for his caring demeanor and his willingness to help students and lend a hand to the teachers. Norman was hired by FRA in 2023 as a Classroom Assistant.  He enjoys working at FRA mostly because he enjoys interacting with the students and helping them learn and have fun. Norman will say that it was the best decision he has ever made. In his spare time Norman enjoys playing softball.  His proudest accomplishment was playing softball for the Special Olympics and winning a gold medal. Norman is a true Yankee fan who enjoys collecting baseball cards and autographs.
